Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Mowvi collects through this website (the “site”), why, and the choices you have. It covers the website only. The Mowvi app will have its own privacy notice before it launches.

What we collect

• Newsletter signups: your email address, optional first name, whether you’re a homeowner, a lawn care pro or just following along, and a record of your consent (the time, and the wording you agreed to).
• Abuse prevention: a salted, one way hash of your IP address and email, kept for up to 24 hours to limit repeated signups. We don’t store your raw IP address with your signup.
• Hosting logs: our hosting provider may process standard technical data (like IP address and browser type) to deliver and secure the site.

The site doesn’t use advertising trackers. It may store a small, temporary flag in your browser so the opening animation only plays once per visit.

How we use it

• To send you emails about Mowvi’s launch, product news and updates, only if you’ve opted in.
• To tailor what we send (for example, news for pros if you told us you’re a lawn care pro).
• To keep the signup form secure and free of spam.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your information. We use service providers to run the site and store signups: currently Vercel (hosting) and Supabase (database). If we start using an email delivery provider, it will process your email address to send our messages. These providers process data on our behalf.

How long we keep it

We keep your signup while you’re subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we keep a minimal record that you opted out so we don’t email you again; you can ask us to delete it entirely.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe anytime using the link in any Mowvi email.
• Ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing mowvius@gmail.com.
• Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws.

Children

The site and newsletter are intended for people 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We’ll update this page if our practices change and revise the date above.
